AWMAI Hall of Fame: 

Honoring Women Martial Arts Instructors Training 30+ Years

Application Instructions

Each application must include:
  • Martial arts resume, including a description of the applicant's contributions to the martial arts (2 pages maximum)
  • Martial arts bio (150 words maximum)
  • Documentation of duration of training, which can include:
    • a copy of your earliest promotion certificate, or
    • other official form or letter documenting the beginning of your training, or
    • notarized letter confirming 30+ years training
  • Two letters of support from colleagues (each one page maximum)
  • Current photo
  • Photo from 30+ years ago, if possible in uniform (preferably in jpeg format)

Upon application approval, a $200 fee will be required. The fee covers induction into the Hall of Fame, a beautiful plaque, one year's membership in AWMAI, and the Hall of Fame Banquet.

Applicants must register and attend the next AWMAI Conference to be honored. AWMAI Hall of Fame Inductees receive a discount for all future AWMAI, PAWMA & NWMAF conferences, camps, and special trainings.

The Hall of Fame Application is due by November 30 for the ceremony AWMAI Conference of the following year.
